| I walk into your office with a smile on my face, saying
"Hello, you guys ready to rock??". My radio in one arm, my stop watch around my neck, and my clip board in the other arm with a type written printed program sheet attached. Everyone turns their heads with a smile on their face, or some are hurrying up, finishing their last bit of work, feeling excitement and anxiety to get started!
Seriously, they are looking forward to their 60 min workout! They are already dressed in their workout gear, have their food journals with them, and their water at hand.
This particular company is upstairs and downstairs they have a small Martial Arts Gym which they have been given the permission to use. But guess what? They also have a nearby empty parking lot! We walk outside downstairs and into the small
air conditioned gym.
I plug in my radio, pop in my CD, and begin their highly anticipated hour by looking over their food journals, praising some and advising others, and whomever doesn't have it..ha...Pushups! Then, The
warm up begins! Sometimes we'll begin with jumping jacks, other times with a combination of exercises, and other times with an effective exercise protocol.
We then go into the premeditated workout that I have taken my sweet time to design the night before. They follow my instructions, work hard, sweat, laugh, joke, and at times talk about current interesting topics, while they take their 30-60 second rest time. At other rest times, they are speechless and only have time to catch their breath. The last 10 minutes, I have them cool down , stretch, and give them the fitness tip of the day. I then proceed to give them their high fives, and "awesome job guys, peace, love, and happiness…c u tomorrow!
As you can see I make workplace much more enjoyable!!
Oh, and by the way, the name of the company is Early to Rise. One of their employees who is doing the program wrote a story on their site about my program. Check it out… Early to Rise.
